This mat DOES has a factory defect, as described. There are eight one inch by four inch markings, a faded navy blue color. This is only on one side as described, I knew what I was buying. The quality is great, and the color is my favorite. I only purchased this at home, but to be honest, if I did go to a class I wouldn't mind using this mat. Great value.

The mat is just as described. The black markings are barely visible. Arrived very quickly. For $15 and free shipping I can't complain.

This mat is very good for the price! It does have a factory 'defect' as listed in the description, i.e. dark lines on one side of the mat & only at one end. I bought to use in my home but would use in a class setting if needed (put the marked side down & no one would know the difference).
The thickness is perfect, adds extra padding for my back but not so thick you get tripped up on it. Would recommend to others.

the mat is good quality, and you can barely see the discoloring that the manufacturer mentioned. it is thick and had no smell when I got it- I was afraid it would smell chemically. the color is true to the picture.

This mat is perfect for my home workouts. I was delighted by the cheap price. The mat does have a lot of discolorations on it, but it is still perfectly functional.
